Jayd Davidson: Bookkeeper / Receptionist at Oceania Public Accountants
Since 2018, Jayd has been a key member of the Oceania Public Accountants team, expertly juggling her dual roles as a bookkeeper and receptionist.
Commencing her career in the accounting industry in 2016, Jayd quickly became the go-to person for all things related to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). She adeptly arranges payment plans, lodges objections, and engages in conversations with the ATO on behalf of our clients.
Jayd’s interactions with clients showcase her invaluable role in our office. Known for her proficiency in QuickBooks, she’s always ready to provide guidance and support.
The biggest lesson she’s learned is the importance of adaptability, especially with the constant shifts in tax legislation. Loyal, honest, and funny, Jayd infuses dedication, integrity, and a sense of humour into her work. Her colleagues and clients hold her in high regard for these qualities.
If given the choice of a superpower, Jayd would choose teleportation, dreaming of the freedom to explore the world instantly.
A true Queenslander, Jayd’s childhood was filled with the friendly State of Origin rivalry, with her supporting Queensland alongside her mum, while her dad cheered for New South Wales.
When away from her desk, Jayd indulges in her passion for nail art, particularly nail stamping, and loves diving into the world of video games. As for her culinary tastes, sushi tops the list, with aburi salmon nigiri being her favourite.
